The best collection of Bed & Breakfast Colosseum at very reasonale prices.
Anyone who visit Rome, visit the Colosseum. Why don't you choose a Bed & Breakfast Colosseum for your holidays in the Italian capital? You will enjoy amazing views on the ampitheatre and Rome.
In ancient times, going to the Colosseum was not only an occasion to attend amazing gladiatorial contests, but also to get a good overview of all the social classes. The audience was divided into different sectors according to their social rank. The first and best seats were reserved for the Senators, while the tier above them was occupied by the non-senatorial noble class or knights. The upper you went, the less important the spectators were, until the last tier, where slaves, non-citizens and women took their places.
There were 80 access arcades and four seating tiers, according to the social ranks, to allow the audience to enter and leave comfortably. The entry inscriptions engraved in Roman numbers on the 80 ground floor arcades survived until today. The entry numbers were engraved in the earthenware entry cards, together with the seat order, the sector, and the tier assigned to each spectator. They looked like football championship subscription cards.
Many Bed & Breakfast Colosseum in a modern style, bright and cosy accommodation in the vert heart of Rome.
