"The staff at Bella Vita were most helpful and accommodating, as well as apologetic when they were approached with regard to the highly unconventional room-cleaning schedule! "
"The big problem with the hotel is that (with such narrow and potentially noisy corridors) the cleaning staff started their shift at 0700 or before, making an almighty racket right outside my room, and undoubtedly others' rooms, too. Finishing a decent night's sleep was impossible. My own room (105) was located directly next to another 'guest room', but one which had been re-commissioned as a cleaners' equipment room, exacerbating the noise problem even more. The issue was so grim that I had to restrict the length of my stay and then find another place for the final few days of my Rome trip. All this, just because of some crazy policy - is there any reason that they cannot undertake the room-cleaning duties at a more civilised (and conventional) time, of 1100-1300? Clearly an avoidable problem."
