Is B&B Roma a paid service?
No! The fees shown on the site correspond to the total prices for the entire stay.Additional fees are only applied to extra services on demand such as: cribs/cots, pick-up service from/to the airport, parking, etc.
Please note: Prices do not include local overnight accommodation tax which is 2 Euros per person per night.
Can I book my accommodation on your site even if I don't have a credit card?
Of course you can! If you don't have a credit card you can pay the deposit by bank transfer or money order according to the accommodation you choose.
Would I get a lower price by booking directly on my own?
No! ON LINE PROMOTION requires its members to maintain their rates whether booking through other agencies or privately. Often by taking advantage of special offers and last minute deals, you can get a more advantageous price.
I asked for the phone number of a B&B but your associate did not provide it to me, why not?
B&B Roma service is not authorised to give the phone number of its members until your booking has been confirmed. Until that moment, you can only see the address, description, photo gallery, map, and ratings of the accommodation you choose through our web site and you can eventually call our switchboard for any kind of requests or additional information.
Instantly confirmed reservations and bookings subject to verification and confirmation within two working hours: How can I be sure that the accommodation is actually available and that prices are really those stated on the web site?
Prices are always 100% guaranteed.
Our web site distinguishes between "instantly confirmed reservations" and "bookings subject to verification within two working hours".
For instantly confirmed reservations, once you have filled in the form, you will immediately receive an email containing instructions for the bank transfer or the final "booking confirmation" (in case of bookings with credit card guarantee).
For bookings to be confirmed within two working hours Once you have filled in the online form, availability will be confirmed by email within two to four working hours. It may happen that your chosen accommodation is booked and not updated in the system immediately, or a booking is made a few moments before yours, or outside of office hours, causing a discrepancy. In this case you will be informed immediately.
Why must I leave my e-mail address? Will I receive advertising and spam?
Your personal details will not be released to third parties nor used for advertising. We need your e-mail address to send you our booking proposal containing length of stay, accommodation details, and the total price. Your e-mail address is also needed for the confirmation voucher containing all contact information. The only e-mail message you will receive after your stay is a survey asking opinion on the accommodation you have stayed in, in order to enhance our service and meet your needs as much as possible.
I've chosen the "credit card option": will my credit card be charged with the amount of the deposit?
No! Your credit card will not be charged. Your credit card details are required as a guarantee for your reservation. Therefore, they will be transmitted to the owner of the accommodation you have chosen. No charge will be made on your credit card. Payment is made upon arrival.
Please note: The owner of the accommodation reserves the right to check the validity of your credit card by charging 1 Euro 15 days before your arrival. He also has the right to request authorization of availability of a guarantee sum equal to the higher amount: either 35% of the whole stay or the cost of the first night. In no cases will the amount be charged except for cancellations not respecting the cancellation policy terms.
Your credit card details are securely processed by our server and are kept strictly confidential.
Does the booking proposal represent a binding agreement?
No! The booking proposal contains the details of your booking and the information to pay the deposit with an expiration term. In case we did not receive any communication within the expiration date, your booking will automatically be cancelled without any obligation on your part.
Instead, those who have chosen the "credit card" option (credit card as a guarantee) have 24h to cancel their booking without running into any penalty, except for reservations made 48 h before arrival.
B&Bs and apartments: What is the difference?
B&Bs are family owned businesses. If you choose to stay in a B&B, you will book one or more rooms – according to the number of people- of an apartment which could also have other guests. If you choose an apartment, instead, it will be at your complete and exclusive disposal.
Is breakfast is always included?
No! Since the apartments are provided with fully equipped kitchenettes, breakfast is not included. The B&B formula, instead, always includes breakfast. In this case, breakfast can be served by the owner, who will also be glad to give you information and advice about the city or at a nearby café which has an agreement with your B&B, in order to let you enjoying your meal with no time restrictions.
Are linen and towels included or should I bring them?
Linen and towels are always included in the fee.
What's the difference between: en-suite, private and shared bathroom?
The en-suite bathroom is inside the room. The private bathroom, instead, is for your exclusive use only, but it is outside the room, often opposite to the room. The shared bathroom is shared with any other guests in the other rooms of the B&B.
What time must I check-in and check-out?
Your arrival time must always be agreed upon a few days prior to arrival. Keep in mind that most B&Bs do not have a reception service, so if you do not have any appointment or your time of arrival is not agreed upon with the owner, you might incur into a very long wait, which cannot be contested.
In any case, you can check-in starting at 12 Noon, and you must check-out by 10 a.m. in order to allow for cleaning.
After checking-in, will I be subject to any time restrictions?
No! During your stay you will be able to access your room at any time you want, since you will be given your own key.
When checking-in, can I pay by credit card?
No! We are sorry, but most B&Bs do not accept credit cards. If you want to pay by credit card you must verify before your arrival that your chosen accommodation accepts credit cards.
