Rome, the capital of Italy, is also the heart of Christianity: it is the only city in the world that has an entire State inside it.
Our selected accommodation are always close to the most important centers of the faith: the authoritative presence of Saint Peter’s Basilica, the majestic façade of the Basilica of Saint John’s, but also the liturgical charm of Saint Mary Major or Saint Clement, the first church that passed on some remembrances in vernacular Italian.
You will pass through the history of Christianity going from the early Christian splendors of Saint Prassede, where there are some of the most important byzantine mosaics of the history, to the wonderful Saint Sabine.
You will be amazed at the wonders conserved in the most important centers of the faith in Rome: eternal masterpieces such as the Michelangelo’s Moses in Saint Peter in Chains, the Pity in Saint Peter or the Calling of Saint Matthew by Caravaggio in Saint Louis of France. You will discover how values handed down by the Church during the history are linked to the greatest masters.
