Casa del Poeta is the perfect little home base for two people who wish to
stay in the beautiful, historic neighborhood of Trastevere but prefer to be
situated on a quiet street away from the chaos of the area. Situated at the 1th floor without elevator ideal for a couple, this apartment is quite small but has a lovely cozy atmosphere that will make you feel at home.
Upon entering the apartment, there is one main room that has been divided off by a set of sliding glass doors to create a separate bedroom and living room.
The owner has decorated the rooms in warm, rich colors and there are two windows (one in the bedroom and one in the living room) that face onto the street, making the apartment bright and sunny. Just off the bedroom is a small bathroom (with shower, no tub) which also has a washing machine guests may use.
In the living room is a TV and sofa, offering a comfortable space for somebody to read or watch TV with the sliding doors shut if the other person is sleeping. Next to the living room is a kitchen which is fully equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator,
table/chairs, and cooking utensils.
Off the kitchen is a balcony; it doesn't have much of a view, as it faces onto the not particularly picturesque inner courtyard of the building, but the owner has decorated it beautifully with faux ivy and flowers, making it nevertheless quite romantic and pleasant --  perfect for leaving the balcony door open on a warm summer evening, letting
a breeze into the kitchen during dinner.

The apartment is located in a completely restored building from the XVIII century,at the first floor without elevator, on a tiny, charming street typical of Trastevere. It's right around the corner from a tram stop, several bus stops, and a taxi rank, making it easy to get everywhere.
You can find everything you need in the neighborhood -- supermarkets, coffee
bars, restaurants, wine bars, and stores of every kind -- plus we highly
recommend exploring the winding streets of Trastevere, stopping to look
inside the green inner courtyards of the buildings, beautiful small
churches, and other hidden treasures.

Rates
Rates include: taxes
Rates can change: according to the season (low, middle, high) and period (Christmas and Easter time, long weekends, bank holidays etc.).
Free stay: for  -3 year old children
7 night stays: discount of 5% - 10% according to the period.
1- night stays: when approved are subject to a 20% surcharge

Useful information
2 night stays: minimum required, especially on weekends.
3 night stays required at Christmas (Dec 23- Jan 6) and Easter  time, long weekends, bank holidays: requests for shorter periods will be considered only if sent with short notice (7 days prior to the arrival date).
